About Me

- Location: Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand
I currently work as a Principal Lecturer in tertiary teacher education at Otago Polytechnic. I am an experienced educational designer and staff developer. For my Doctorate in Education research, I investigated the use of a Three-Step Reflective Framework to support professional learning and reflective practice. I use this framework to scaffold the development of tertiary teachers' electronic portfolios. My professional interests relate to the use of open education resources and practices, social networked media and mobile devices for flexible learning and teaching. I promote educational design that helps to develop capability in digital information literacy. Teaching and research publications.
